Super Liger (Vestron Vulture)

I actually just found this album last night on Spotify and I don't know if I just have suppressed dark-wave goth baddie inside me or what happened! I've been in a trance listening to this album. It's a super short album (only 22 minutes and 8 songs). I've heard of a couple songs by Vestron Vulture in the past, but this is my first time giving a full album a listen. I chose this album over the other to listen to first because I felt like the whole album was pretty cohesive and all had the same cemetery dance party vibe. Not gonna lie, when I popped this album on this morning on my walk to the food truck (getting my morning breakfast burrito!), I did sort of feel like I was in like an 80's black and white, semi-grainy, goth music video. That was enhanced by the fact that Seattle is pretty much always in a cloudy, rainy mood (and this morning was no exception). I really like how melodic a lot of the songs are. Granted, I cannot understand (and not really sure if I'm supposed to audibly understand?) the lyrics and they are very muted in the background. I have to admit, I'm a little new to this realm of the music scene so maybe it's more common in this genre? Lollllll I guess we will find out! I'm really gonna try to explore more music this year!
